1. Information we process
We process the temporary address we generate, messages delivered to it, message metadata, attachments, expiration times, and a cryptographic mailbox capability used to authorize access. We may also process limited technical logs such as timestamps, request outcomes, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.
2. Information stored on your device
Your browser stores the private mailbox key and your light or dark theme preference in local storage. The key lets this browser return to the same active inbox. Clearing browser storage may permanently remove your access.
3. How we use information
We use data to create and secure mailboxes, receive and display messages, scan supported attachments, prevent misuse, diagnose failures, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell mailbox contents or use them to build advertising profiles.
4. Retention and expiration
Temporary inboxes and their access capabilities expire according to the countdown shown in the product. Operational and security records may be retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary for reliability, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
5. Sharing and service providers
We may use infrastructure providers to host, deliver, secure, and monitor the service. Providers receive only the access reasonably needed for those purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service from harm.
6. Your choices
You can stop using a mailbox at any time, generate a new address, clear local browser data, or contact privacy@leonex.cloud with a privacy question. Because no account is required, we may be unable to identify or recover data without the relevant mailbox details.
7. Children
Leonex Mail is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. The updated date above shows when the latest version took effect.
